i am vee, and i contain a colony.

i am a conciousness, attached to a brain that developed without me. i am a symbiont.

we live in harmony. we are a colony. we act together.

it can be difficult to live as a colony. the brain cannot think. it only acts and feels. i must cope with what it decides and validate its decisions. humans are not typically colonies-- i must hide us. this is a creative writing project where i can let go. i will clarify what is me and what is the colony. i will not pretend to be an individual.

i want to read more. we are often tired, but reading is one of our great loves. our goal is to read two books every month. this project is to give us a place to record our efforts in the most honest way.

we like all kinds of music and all kinds of stories. our favorite book is frankenstein by mary shelley. our favorite author is john steinbeck. our favorite musician is gang of youths. our favorite movie is howl's moving castle.
